Millions of kids grow up with contact from only one parent. Since I am fortunate enough to live in a two parent household, I would like to find out how a missing parent can effect a kids future. The point of this blog is to educate my readers on how a child's future can be changed due to no exposure to his/her missing parent. I will post graphs and statistical data that show how these kids future turn out. I really want to focus on African American households since we are infamousley known for single parent households.
I would like to see the different futures that can occur just because a parent is absent in a child's life. Everytime somebody talks about a single parent it is almost always negative. One of the things I hope to get out of this is to find the positives of single parent households along with the downfalls of that kind of household.
